Blois is the geographical centre of the Loire Valley, a real town where people work, live and enjoy themselves, and not just a tourist attraction!
We offer two possibilities:
- Closerie Falaiseau, a beautifully renovated Renaissance Cottage built in 1584 on the outskirts of town for 2 to 4 adults in a quiet neighbourhood with a village atmosphere a stone’s throw from the Loire River.
- Châtel Rose, a studio apartment in a quite street in the Mediaeval Centre for an 18th century experience with modern-day comfort for 2 adults
The Loire Valley, with its Renaissance châteaux, was once the home of Kings and Queens. Blois is central to such famous names as Chambord, Chaumont, Cheverny, Chenonceau and Amboise castles. No matter what the season, you will be able to appreciate the region’s history, wine and gastronomy.
For those who like the outdoors, there is cycling, hiking, canoeing, horse riding, air ballooning and golf with some of France’s most beautiful countryside and hunting forests as a backdrop.
A scenic drive along the Loire awaits you every time you leave the cottage to go into Blois or to visit the châteaux.
If you choose the apartment, you are right in the centre of the mediaeval quarter of Blois with its cobbled streets, just a stone’s throw from bars and restaurants.
